Cabaret Children’s Company

BRIDGEPORT — The Downtown Cabaret Children’s Company will hold open auditions for its upcoming season of professional musical theater for young audiences on Tuesday, August 30, at 7 pm. The auditions will be at the theater, 263 Golden Hill Street in Bridgeport.

The season includes five productions: The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, Christmas In Candyland, Goldilocks, Heidi and The Wizard Of Oz

Directors are seeking non-union lead actors and character actors age 20-45 who sing and move well, as well as teen actors ages 13 to 18.

Please note there are no roles for children under the age of 13,

Those auditioning should prepare two songs (16 bars uptempo and ballad), bring sheet music (accompanist provided), picture and resume.

Those auditioning should also be prepared to read from script and learn a simple dance combination.
