Fashion Show For Make-A-Wish
A fashion show of kids and teens clothing to benefit Make-A-Wish will be held from noon to 2 pm on Sunday, August 28, at the farmers market at 1 Glen Road in Sandy Hook.
Local clothing merchants, including Style, Deliaâs, Magic Garden, and Clares, are the fashion sponsors; hairstyling has been donated by the Sandy Hook Hair Company. There will be a simultaneous bake sale and raffle of prizes including autographed footballs by former National Football League player Freeman McNeil, a Style gift card, Mets tickets, and other items donated by local companies.
There is a suggested donation of $5.
The fashion show was organized by Alexandra Napier-Ruzek, 13, and other local teenagers.
