EMS Clinic Hike To Benefit Arthritis Society

DANBURY — All of the Eastern Mountain Sports Stores in Connecticut are teaming up with The Arthritis Society to raise money for the “Joints In Motion” program. Of the eight stores in the state, the closest to Newtown is the Danbury EMS at Danbury Fair Mall.

The stores will be sponsoring a hiking clinic on Wednesday, September 7, from 7 to 9 pm, and then a five-mile hike on Saturday, September 17, from 10 am to 1 pm, at a location to be announced at the clinic.

Registration cut-off date for this event is September 1.

The fee for this event is $15 per participant with all monies going to The Arthritis Society. For more information contact Danbury EMS store at 794-1043.
