Counseling Department To Host Parent/Senior Breakfast

In an effort to assist students who are seniors and their parents with a smooth transition into postsecondary options, the Counseling Department is hosting a parent and senior breakfast on Monday, August 29, from 7:15 to 9:30 am in the auditorium.

At this session guidance counselors will discuss the next steps, responsibilities, options, essay, and interview tips, as well as other pertinent information to assist in guiding students in the path they will take following graduation from Newtown High School. There will be ample opportunity for specific questions and concerns to be discussed.

A letter regarding the breakfast has been mailed out to all families with students who will be entering their senior year at Newtown High School. For more information call Neil Culhane, Director of Guidance at 426-7651.
