Browns Celebrate 50th Anniversary

William and Carol Brown, Sandy Hook, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 2 at the Fireside Inn. A surprise party in their honor was given by their five children, Keith Brown and Francine Normile, Lynn Gallic, Todd and Karen Brown, Brett and Michelle Brown, and Lisa and Daniel Chiulli; and their 14 grandchildren.

The Browns were married at the Long Hill Methodist Church in Trumbull on July 2, 1955.

Mr Brown worked for SNET for 40 years before retirement. Mrs Brown ran a day care from her home for 25 years.
