The Newtown Choral Society, under the direction of Mary Andreotta, will have an open rehearsal, its first rehearsal of the season, on Wednesday, September 13, at Newtown Middle School. The rehearsal will begin at 7 pm.

Accompanied by Todd Gorski, the choir’s holiday concert is scheduled for Sunday, December 3, at 4 pm.

Now in its 20th year, the choir encourages members from all area towns. A love of singing and a desire to learn is all that is required. There are openings in all voices.
