Connecticut Business News Journal reported this week that Andrea Obston Marketing Communications (AOMC) received three awards in the international Communicator Awards 2006 Print Competition, including one related to a Newtown company.
Account manager Chris Watts earned an Award of Distinction for a press release on new European environmental regulations he wrote for Newtown-based TUV Rheinland of North America.
AOMCâs Susan Lewis earned an Award of Excellence for her work publicizing children with behavioral issues with Watertown Kangaroos Kornerâs Cathy Wickline.
Andrea Obston, the firmâs president, pocketed an Award of Distinction for her public relations crisis plan for the nonprofit health care agency Chrysalis Center in Hartford.
