Planning Annual Kick-Off

The Newtown Newcomers and Neighbors are planning “A Newtown Open House,” a special event to introduce residents to many of the town’s clubs and organizations. The event will be Friday, September 7, from 7 to 9 pm, in Edmond Town Hall’s Alexandria Room.

As of this week, Newtown Newcomers and Neighbors will be joined by representatives of ten additional clubs for this year’s event: Newtown Youth & Family Services, Newtown Forest Association, Newtown Junior Women’s Club, The Animal Center, International Club of Newtown, Working Women’s Forum, Winterset Ski Club, Newtown Bridle Lands, Newtown Historical Society, and Families Network of Western Connecticut. Each club will have a table with information about its mission and activities.

The event will also feature raffles and activities for children.
