Beloved Mother
Josephine (Dellamarggio) Pavlo, 81, of Milford, beloved wife of the late John Pavlo, died August 17 at the Jewish Home For the Elderly in Fairfield, with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport October 22, 1925, she was the daughter of Joseph and Tomasina Dellamarggio, and was a Bridgeport resident most of her life before moving to Milford in 1995.
Survivors include her three daughters, Maryann Kiss of Newtown, Susan Mintz of Orange, and Janet Tomlinson of Milford; four grandsons; two granddaughters; and six granddogs. She was one of 19 children and is survived by a brother, Thomas Dellamarggio of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs Pavlo was a retired employee for the City of Bridgeport and she loved watching sports, especially her favorite team, the Boston Red Sox. She also enjoyed cooking and her flower garden.
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 23, at noon in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment was in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
