Jean Budzik Shea

Devoted Grandmother And V.J.’s Shopping Buddy

Jean Budzik Shea, 91, a homemaker, of Trumbull and Fairfield, died August 16 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs Shea was born in Detroit, Mich., and was a Trumbull resident for many years.

She was the widow of Vincent J. Shea, Sr, and was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Edward Budzik. Survivors include her beloved children, Vincent Shea, Jr, and his wife, Alida, of Sandy Hook and Kathleen Siciliano and her husband, Anthony, of Redding; one brother, Richard Budzik, of Seymour; two sisters, Elizabeth (Betty) Soukup of Huntington and Eleanor Budzik of Shelton; six cherished grandchildren, Vincent J. “V.J.” Shea III, Jaclyn Shea, Adam Shea, Zoe Kenney, Sarah and Emily Siciliano; two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Zachary Kenney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a retired sales clerk for Read’s Department Store, and later Jordan Marsh and Macy’s.

Funeral services were Sunday, August 19, in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home. Private inurnment was in Nichols Village Cemetery.
