Planning Theater Night

Canine Advocates of Newtown will present its second annual theater night benefit in conjunction with the Town Players of Newtown at 8 pm on Saturday, September 15. This event will support the building fund for a New Pound for Newtown.

The Players will perform Dinner with Friends, a serio-comic comment on modern marriage by Pulitzer Prize-winner Donald Margulies. The Little Theater, where Town Players present their performances, is on Orchard Hill Road in Newtown.

Tickets for the fun filled evening are $25 each, which includes refreshments and an entry in a drawing for a gift basket. Refreshments will be available at 7:30 pm and during intermission.

Tickets can be ordered by sending a check payable to Canine Advocates of Newtown, together with a stamped self-addressed envelope, to Canine Advocates of Newtown, PO Box 236, Newtown CT 06470. Ticket orders must be received by September 1.

The Little Theater has only 70 seats, so order early to enjoy a fun-filled night out and support a New Pound for Newtown.
