Margaret Hull
Margaret “Peggy” Hull, 84, of Brooklyn, died August 20, at St Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was born in Bridgeport, July 13, 1929, daughter of Bertha (Creevey) and Michael Dugas. She was the wife of Lester L. Hull.
Besides her husband, her children, Patricia A. Clark of Newtown, MaryBeth Hull of Thomaston, Linda Hull Danis of East Killingly, and Lawrence Hull, and wife Patricia, of Brooklyn; brother Thomas Dugas of Stratford; and six grandchildren survive Mrs Hull.
She was a 1950 graduate of St Vincent School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for 60 years. She was employed at Bridgeport Hospital until 1981 and also worked at Norcliffe Rest Home and Pierce Memorial Baptist Home. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Wauregan, Conn. She loved to read, play cards, enjoyed camping, and was a member of Seaport Sams Club. She was an avid UConn Women’s Basketball and Celtics fan who loved to play sports and was an avid bowler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, August 24, at 1 pm, in Sacred Heart Church, Route 205, Wauregan. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours were scheduled for Friday, August 23, from 7 to 9 pm, in Tillinghast Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Danielson.
