Stratford Breakers Tryouts

The Stratford Breakers premier fast pitch softball team will hold tryouts on Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24, at DeLuca Field in Stratford. On August 23, age groups U10, U12 and U14 will meet from 10 am to 1 pm while U16 and U18 will meet from 1 to 4 pm. On August 24, all age groups will meet from 10 am to 1 pm. Benefit Hockey Game

The Hockey Fights Cancer benefit hockey game – between NHL alumni and a team comprised of local high school and youth hockey coaches and parents – will be held Saturday, August 16, at the Wonderland of Ice in Bridgeport. Tickets will be $10 and available at the door. Following the game, a reception and sports memorabilia auction will be held at Vazzy’s 19th Hole at the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course in Fairfield.
