Pierce Receives Spirit Award

Karen Pierce of Newtown recently attended the Creative Memories National Convention Showcase 2001 in Reno, Nevada.

Ms Pierce received the prestigious Spirit of Success award, which honors a home-based photo preservation professional as an entrepreneur with a heart and a humanitarian with a business sense. She also was recognized for her personal sales, personal recruiting, and placed fifth for top performance as a unit leader.

Creative Memories, based in St Cloud, Minn., is the largest manufacturer and distributor of photo-safe albums and supplies in the United States. Ms Pierce is among more than 50,000 Creative Memories consultants in six countries who teach people how to organize and preserve their photos and chronicle their family histories in scrapbook photo albums at home gatherings and workshops.

Ms Pierce has been a Creative Memories consultant for four and one-half years.
