NVCC Offers Distance Learning Courses For Fall Semester

No time in your schedule to come to class?

Take advantage of Naugatuck Valley Community College’s (NVCC) Distance Learning option and take classes from the comfort and convenience of your own personal computer. Update your skills, develop a new talent, or chart a new career path all at your own pace through our “instructor-led” online courses. Interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials, and online discussion areas supplement the lessons. All materials are made available over the Web.

New distance learning credit-free classes have been added this semester to further convenience. There are more than 20 courses offered that will increase skills in the workplace. Courses include classes that teach the latest business-oriented software programs and important lessons in starting and effectively operating your own small business.

Advanced business courses are also offered, including project management, mastery of business application, logistics, and customer service. In addition, basic writing, a writing workshop, and electronic resume courses are offered. For more information, contact Marie Peterson at 203/596-8712 or call 203/575-8029 for a complete credit-free catalog. A list of credit and credit-free distance learning classes is also available on the NVCC Web site: www.nvcc.commnet.edu.
