Ella Sue Swentor

Former Resident

Ella Sue Swentor, 71, died July 10, in Wheatland, Mo., after a brief illness. She resided in Flemington, Mo., but had been a resident of Newtown for 35 years before moving. She was born in LaHarpe, Ill., February 7, 1938, to Madge Q. and Henry A. Anderson.

She is survived by four children, Jean of Colorado, Scott of Georgia, Leigh of Missouri, and Brad, who is presently serving in Afghanistan; and two grandchildren.

Ms Swentor held a master’s degree in education, and in art and music, and a degree from the Hartford Seminary in ministry.

A memorial service is still in the planning stage.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
