The VFW Post 308 First Annual Auxiliary Poker Run takes place Saturday, August 25.

Registration is 9:30 to 10:30 at VFW Post 308, 18 Tinkerfield Road, with “kickstands up” by 11 am. Bikers cost is $25, riders $20.

First stop is Shelton American Legion Post 16, 295 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton; second stop is Prospect VFW Post 8075, 218 Cheshire Road, Prospect; third stop is Thomaston American Legion Post 22, 211 Elm Street, Thomaston. Cards must be turned in by 4:30 pm at Newtown VFW Post 308.

Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches will be available from 9:30 to 11 am.

A BBQ dinner starts at 4 pm, with 50/50 raffle, prizes, music, raffle baskets.
