Sandy and Tony Vas of Pinnacle Way in Danbury announce the birth of a daughter, Mary Elise Vas, on May 24 at Danbury Hospital.

Mary Elise weighed seven pounds, three ounces, and she was 19 inches long.

She joins an older brother, Lucas, who is 2.

Paternal grandparents Marcus and Fatima Vas live in Danbury.

Maternal grandmother Lise Sirois lives in Maine.

Tony Vas works for the Network Support Company and has worked for The Newtown Bee and the Cyrenius H. Booth Library.

A daughter, Leah Grace, was born on August 9 at Danbury Hospital to Hugo and Elizabeth Rojas of Kent, N.Y.

Maternal grandparents are Rev Gregory and Priscilla Wismar of Mt Pleasant Road, Newtown.

Paternal grandparents are Elisabeth Chapparo of New Bern, N.C., and Hugo Rojas of New Brunswick, N.J.

Great-grandparents are Mal and Sue Ames of Akron, Ohio, and Norma Wismar of Falls Village.

Leah Grace joins her brother, Ryan, age 2.
