Pre-Book Sale Help Is Needed

To the Editor:

The Friends of The Library, who are setting up for the Labor Day Book Sale, are in trouble. Too many of our helpers have been pummeled by fate. An arm operation, a blown knee, a nasty bump on the head, an allergic reaction to dust, and to say nothing the damage that Florida’s Charlie did to one of our workers.

Kind hearts and helping hands would be greatly appreciated. For next Monday evening we particularly need strong backs. We are setting up Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am until noon, and 7 to 9 pm. Helpers during the sales weekend are also wanted.
