Keith (Toby) Watkins

Keith (Toby) Watkins, 51, of Brookfield, died August 12 at Danbury Hospital. He grew up in Newtown and attended Newtown schools, as well as Abbott Technical School in Danbury.

He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend, Jean (Bircher) Watkins of Brookfield and his buddy, Wacky; his brothers, Steve, Sid, and Bobby; and his little sister, Ruthie; a niece, Andi; and a son; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins; “Plus a small handful of people he could call friends.”

As Keith put it, “There are no calling hours, no visiting me! If you wish, you can crack a beer and roast me!”
