FARMINGTON â Judith Reichman, MD, a womenâs health expert, best-selling author and medical correspondent for NBCâs Today show, will visit the University of Connecticut Health Center on Monday, September 20, to share insights from her new book, Slow Your Clock Down, The Complete Guide to a Healthy, Younger You.
Sponsored by Celebrate Women, Dr Reichmanâs presentation will run from 6 to 8 pm in the health centerâs Keller Auditorium and will be followed by a book-signing. The event is free and registration is required; call 866-4-FEMALE or 860-679-8899.

In Slow Your Clock Down, Dr Reichman provides a comprehensive look at how the aging process affects women, as well as steps women can take to maximize their overall health, vitality, appearance, and mental health.
âThis book is both a medical and personal quest to optimize the minutes and hours of our internal and external clocks, not simply to get more done, but to have time to savor what weâve accomplished and have the good health to do so,â Dr Reichman writes in the introduction.
Dr Reichmanâs presentation on September 20 will touch upon strategies to feel younger and healthier.
Along with her busy schedule of television and speaking appearances, Dr Reichman maintains an active practice in Los Angeles, specializing in gynecology, infertility, and menopause. She is the author of several books including Relax This Wonât Hurt: Painless Answers to Womenâs Most Pressing Health Questions; Iâm Not in the Mood: What Everyone Woman Should Know About Improving Her Libido; and Iâm Too Young to Get Old: Health Care for Women After Forty.
