Parent Connection

Mark your calendars — Tuesday, September 28 from 7 to 9 pm at Newtown Middle School. Internationally renowned speaker Norm Bossio will kickoff this year’s forums. Please watch for additional details.

Wednesday, October 20, 7 to 9 pm, at NMS, will feature substance abuse expert John Hamilton.

Job Bank

Job Bank is a service available to residents in need of assistance with jobs such as yard work, snow removal, baby-sitting, help with parties, computers, office work, and more. Contact Erin at NYS with your job request and she can suggest a fee schedule appropriate for each job situation.

 

Parent Programs

Hope and Support Group: If you are a parent with questions or concerns about your child’s possible or confirmed involvement with substances, you are invited to attend the Hope and Support group. This group meets Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Parents’ Corner. All are welcome.

 

Youth Programs

4H, HYSAB, MYSAB and NYCAAP: Will all resume in the fall.

All programs will take place at Newtown Youth Services, 10 Glen Road in Sandy Hook, unless noted.
