Julius M. Heider

Julius M. Heider, 84, of 5A Woodside Avenue, Danbury, died August 17 at his home. He was the brother of Mary Qubick of Sandy Hook.

He was born in New York City, July 6, 1917, a son of the late John and Mary (Omas) Heider.

A resident of Danbury for several years, he formerly resided in Sandy Hook. Mr Heider was employed for over 30 years as a laundry worker at Fairfield Hills Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army.

Mr Heider is also survived by two nieces, Betty Peck of Bethany and Marilyn Ferencek of Southbury and two great-nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, on August 22. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
