To the Editor:

Millions of people have lost their jobs, and with them their health insurance, during the pandemic. Most don’t expect to ever get their jobs back. Small businesses in Connecticut are struggling to stay afloat. And it’s increasingly difficult to afford to live here in Connecticut. We need help!

We need someone in Hartford with new ideas, someone who will fight for a state government that will invest in all of the people who live and work in our state.

That person is Michelle McCabe. She is a candidate for Connecticut’s 28th Senate district, and she will be ready from day one to start rebuilding our economy. Among Michelle’s priorities are:

Supporting small businesses and their workforce;

Creating jobs and supporting infrastructure in transportation and green energy;

Forgiving student loans for those who live in or move to Connecticut;

Supporting housing and services for seniors;

Making sure all Connecticut residents have affordable health care;

Reducing the burden of property taxes and the cost of electricity.
