Louise Simone Gugliotti

Beloved Wife And Sister

Louise Simone Gugliotti, 59, of Bethany, died at home, August 16. She was the beloved wife of Victor Gugliotti. She was born in New Haven, December 24, 1951, a daughter of Louise and George Fasulo Simone.

Three siblings, including Rose Marie Fattibene, and her husband Richard, of Newtown survive Ms Gugliotti. She also leaves her in-laws; and her cats Marco and Ruffio.

Ms Gugliotti received her BS in early education from Southern Connecticut State University in 1973, and her master’s in reading in 1977. In 1980 she was invited to become a charter member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, an international honorary sorority for women educators, where she served as chaplain, sergeant at arms, historian, and president. As president, she started the Nicholas Criscuolo Reading Award, given yearly to students who exhibit a love for reading. She taught in the New Haven Public Schools for 38 years.

She loved to travel and enjoyed shopping, reading, eating out, and socializing with friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Center Road, Woodbridge, Saturday, August 20, at 11 am. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum, North Haven. There will be no visiting hours.
