River Glen Fine Arts Gallery hosted an opening reception on August 14 for “Tercentennial Celebration: En Plein Air Exhibit of Newtown and Sandy Hook.” The exhibition, the gallery’s offering for Newtown’s tercentennial celebration, offers visitors a look at more than 70 views of Newtown. The collection was created by 16 award-winning Connecticut artists and will remain on view until September 11.
