Marker Plates Stolen
Sometime between 7:30 am and 4:15 pm on August 15, someone stole both the front and rear marker plates from a vehicle parked at the Super Stop & Shop supermarket at Sand Hill Plaza at 228 South Main Street. Police are investigating and ask anyone with information on the theft to contact them at 426-5841.
Vandalism
Police said they charged Thomas Klinger, 37, of Norwalk on a warrant on August 16, lodging one count of third degree criminal mischief against him. Police said the charge stems from a July 13 incident at a Fern Lane residence in which Klinger allegedly broke a window. Police released Klinger on $200 bail for a September 1 court appearance.
Danbury Man
Police said they spotted a vehicle being driven eastward on Church Hill Road without marker plates about 6 pm August 16, so they stopped the driver on Interstate 84âs Exit 10 westbound on-ramp to investigate.
Police charged motorist Angel Fajardo, 42, of Danbury with failure to display marker plates, driving without a license, and driving without automotive insurance. Fajardo posted $200 bail and was released for an August 30 court appearance.
