High School Orientation

Newtown High School has scheduled the following orientations for incoming freshman and transfer students to help them make a smooth transition coming in to the high school.

On Monday, August 22, from 9:30 am to noon, the high school will hold an orientation for transfer students entering the tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades.

 There will be a parent orientation August 22 from 7 to 8:30 pm in the lecture hall. A panel of student representatives will be on hand to answer questions from parents whose children will be entering the high school as freshmen. Ninth grade student orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, from 10 am until 1 pm.

On an added note, the high school guidance office will begin mailing transcripts for eleventh and twelfth grade students in the next few weeks.
