Music Jam

MONROE — Children of all ages, and their parents and grandparents, are invited to an End of Summer Family Music Jam at Creative Music and Arts on Saturday, August 20, from 10 am to noon rain or shine.

There will be hands-on musical exploration for young children as well as share instrument history and knowledge with visitors.

No appointments are necessary, and there is no fee to attend.

Participants should “bring your dancin’ feet and singin’ voices” for the event, which will also feature local registered Music Together® teachers Steve Epstein, Julie Capuano and Lis Rothchild. Special guests will be The Love at Work Band featuring Tom Hanford and Kat Bloom.

Singing and dancing will be encouraged.

The Family Music Jam is being co-presented by Creative Arts & Music in Monroe and Music Together of Monroe/Newtown. Creative Arts and Music, where the event will be held, is at 731 Main Street/Route 25 in Monroe.
