Brian C. Brown, 32, of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly on August 16.

Mr Brown was born in Bridgeport on April 26, 1973, a son of Bruce K. and Janet (Gernat) Brown of Newtown. He attended Newtown High School and was employed at the time of his death as a technician at Sandy Hook Automotive and Marine.

Brian enjoyed fishing, boating, and restoring vintage cars.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Heather Brown of Southbury; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 19, at 1 pm, at Newtown Village Cemetery.

Friends may call at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown, on Thursday, August 18, between 7 and 9 pm.
