Terrence Mulligan, 64, of Danbury died August 12 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Joan (Berthiaume) Mulligan. He was born in Southbridge, Mass., April 21, 1942, son of William F. and Florence (Neely) Mulligan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Dr Shannon Mulligan and her husband, James Weiland, Jr, of Newtown; Sean Mulligan and his wife, Elizabeth, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and Heather McKeon and her husband, Patrick, of Naugatuck; grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Julia, and Gavin.
He was a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam era.
Mr Mulligan was employed as a golf course superintendent at Pelham Country Club, Pelham Manor, N.Y., and then Rolling Hills Country Club, Wilton, and retired from Heritage Village Golf Course in Southbury.
He was a member of Connecticut Golf Course Association and the Metropolitan Golf Course Association.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated August 17. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
