Mr and Mrs Christopher Licht

Jennifer Michelle Blanco, daughter of Tom Blanco and the late Jeannie Blanco and step-daughter to Susan Woodruff, of Ramona, Calif., and Christopher Andrew Licht, son of Dr Peter and Susan Licht of Newtown, were joined in marriage on April 22 at L’Auberge Del Mar in Del Mar, Calif. Gail Donahue, aunt of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride was dressed in a strapless, ivory Vera Wang gown of silk organza with a green sash. She carried a bouquet of mixed ivory and green flowers.

She was attended by Brooke Hunter of San Diego, Calif., as maid of honor. Her step-sister, Jackie Conway, San Francisco; sister of the groom, Stephanie Hatherley, Hopkinton, Mass.; Tiffany Parker, Del Mar, Calif.; Jessica Dixon, New York; Francy Ronayne, Boston; and Heather Zinkin served as bridesmaids. The attendants were dressed in strapless, chocolate brown Vera Wang cocktail length dresses of satin and carried assorted green flowers.

Flower girls were Meghan and Sarah Rhoades.

Mr Licht’s best man was Dr Marc Nespoli of Oxford. Groomsmen were brother of the bride, Michael Blanco, New York; brother-in-law to the groom, Scott Hatherley, Hopkinton, Mass.; Andrew Giacometti, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; Will Brandenburger, San Francisco; Cory Shakarian, Los Angeles; and Charlie Rosene, Hermosa Beach, Calif.

A reception followed the ceremony at L’Auberge Del Mar in Del Mar.

Mrs Licht is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara. She is currently a news producer for the 11 pm news at WNBC in New York.

Mr Licht, a graduate of Syracuse University, is the executive producer for Scarborough Country on MSNBC.

Following a wedding trip to Bora Bora, the couple makes their home in Manhattan.
