Garner Inmate Arrested
State police said that during routine prisoner activities at Garner Correctional Institution on August 9, an inmate threatened to kill a correction officer, after which state police were called in to investigate.
The correction officer was not injured, state police said.
State police charged inmate Michael Davis, 20, with threatening and with refusal to be fingerprinted.
Davis was scheduled to appear the next day in Danbury Superior Court.
Davis is an unsentenced prisoner who is being held at Garner on a pending charge of assault on a police officer or fire officer.
