Craig William Parker was born March 25, 1958, in Norwalk, Conn., to his loving parents, Jessie Shippy and William Parker. He had three siblings: Sandy McMurchy, Elizabeth Parker Clark, and Eugene Parker.

Craig leaves behind his wife and partner of 33 years, Joan Huskins-Parker; one son, Colin Parker; and three daughters: Sage Baron, Chelsea Huskins, and Chantal Huskins. He was a devoted grandfather to three loving grandchildren: Cosette, Lenox, and Gemavieve.

Craig was an avid fisherman, retired skier, passionate about surfing, lover of music, photographer, and often found on or by the ocean. As a contractor, no job was too big or small, but Craig’s true passion was fine woodworking and he was a master craftsman. Craig was a man who would give the shirt off his back and lived life with heart.

There will be calling hours on August 20, 2022, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, from 11 am to 2 pm. Remembrances will begin at 1 pm.
