Rotary Plans Golf Tourney For Charity

Newtown Rotary is currently planning and promoting its seventh annual charity golf tournament that will be held on Monday, October 4, at the Tashua Knolls Golf Club in Trumbull.

 The Family Counseling Center and the Shelter of the Cross Inc are the principal recipients of the proceeds of the event. The Savings Bank of Danbury is the principal sponsor and Hal Wibling, president and chief executive officer of the bank, is the honorary chairman.

The day begins at 11:30 am. The golf fee includes 18 holes of golf, hole-in-one prizes of a 2003 automobile and a $10,000 cash prize, other golf prizes, lunch, and dinner.
