Memory Loss Group At The Common

BROOKFIELD — The Village at Brookfield Common, 246A Federal Road in Brookfield, will host an Alzheimer’s and Memory Loss Caring and Sharing Group on Thursday, August 28, at 3 pm.

Marie Rega, activity director for The Village’s specialized Alzheimer residence known as the Courtyard, will lead the group in sharing feelings, concerns, and information in a safe and relaxed setting. Ms Rega has facilitated similar programs at Second Home in Brookfield, the Masonic Care Day Center, and The Rehabilitation Institute of Brookfield. With her knowledge and experience, she will assist participants in connecting with other community resources, such as libraries, education and training programs, helplines, guidance, and counseling.

Sessions will take place the last Thursday of every month at The Village at Brookfield Common. All sessions are free and open to the public. For more information, contact Claire Rathbun at 775-8696.
