Sunday, September 7 – The Bedford Riding Lanes Association Fall Pace will be held on Sunday, September 7, from 8 am to 12 noon, at the John Jay Homestead State Historic Site on Route 22 in Katonah, New York. Limit is 130 teams. Lunch (12 noon to 2 pm) is included. No post entries. Entries will close on September 2, or when the pace is full. Sunday, September 21 – The Middlebury Bridle Land Association Fall Hunter Pace will be held on Sunday, September 21, at Larkin Farm on South Street in Middlebury. Lunch is included. Pre-payment and pre-registration are required. Call Shawnalee Kwashnak at 598-0065 for further information.

Sunday, October 5 – The Lewisboro Horseman’s Association Fall Country Pace will be held Sunday, October 5, from 8 am to 12 noon, at the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, New York. Sunday, October 12 – The Greenwich Riding and Trails Association will hold its Fall Pace on Sunday, October 12, 8 am to 12 noon, at the Hughes/Wonham Field in Greenwich. Lunch will be at 12:30 pm and ribbons will be awarded when all riders are in. There will be Hunt, Pleasure, Junior and Western Divisions. Sunday, October 26 – The Newtown Bridle Lands Association will hold its Frost on the Pumpkin Pace on Sunday, October 26, 8 am to 12 noon, at Mount Nebo Road. A buffet lunch will be held from 11 am to 2 pm. Entries close on October 22, or when pace is full. Early registrations are recommended. Sunday, September 7 – The Millbrook Hunt Hunter Pace will be held Sunday, September 7, from 10 am to 1 pm, on Fraleigh Hill Road in Millbrook, New York. Proper cub-hunting (jacket/ratcatcher) please. Horse Shows

 

Sunday, September 7 – The Fairfield County 4-H Committee will hold its Nutmeg Benefit Horse Show on Sunday, September 7, at the Agricultural Extension Center, 67 Stony Hill Road, Bethel. There will be English equitation, western, trail, hunt and advanced rookie divisions. Champions and reserve champions will be named. Year end awards will also be presented. All proceeds from the show will benefit 4-H youth and adult educational programs. Refreshments will be available. Call 1-203-207-8440 for a prize list.
