Applauds The NICE Party

To the Editor:

I wold like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Piesner for organizing the newly formed Newtown Independent Coalition for Excellent (NICE) party in Newtown. His commitment to fair and just government will be a breath of fresh air for Newtown in November.

Mr Piesner’s altruistic passion was demonstrated in the call to organize the Newtown Property Owners Association in defense of 2,315 property owners of which 1,993 contained existing residences. The association sought to protect the property rights of families. The upzoning was a shameful and disgusting attempt at social engineering cloaked in environmental lies. When the facts didn’t justify the upzoning it was too bad for the facts and now the people must pay to defend property rights in court against the P&Z. Apparently two parties in Newtown are not enough to provide protection against hidden agendas and political malpractice.

God’s speed to the NICE Party in November.
