A show of cartoons, watercolors, and acrylics by noted area cartoonists and artists is currently on display at Plain Jane’s Restaurant, 208 Greenwood Avenue in Bethel, through September.

Original works by Orlando Busino, John Smallwood-Garcia, Frederick Carpenter, Jack Medoff, Joseph Farris, and Newtown cartoonist Dana Fradon decorate both dining rooms at Plain Jane’s.

The public is invited to the opening reception for “The Artists of Plain Jane’s” on Sunday, August 18, at 2:30 pm, at the restaurant. Many of the original pieces are available for purchase.

The dining room walls of Plain Jane’s Restaurant are currently filled with a collection of cartoons, watercolors and acrylics by noted area cartoonists and artists.
Works by noted artists, including this one by longtime Newtown resident Dana Fradon, are included in the exhibition at Plain Jane’s Restaurant.
