Support The Skate Boarders

To the Editor:

I am amazed that it has been so difficult for the people of Newtown to put a park together for the skaters and am happy to see that at least there is an effort to do so.

I remember when I lived in Newtown that skate boards were disallowed everywhere. On the school campuses, in the parking areas, on the streets...come on... how can there be so much prejudice about skateboards?  I hope that there is more support soon.
