Rotary Inducts New Member

Rotary Club past president Alan Clavette recently presided over the induction of the newest member of the Newtown Rotary Club.

Thomas L. McKirdy, Jr, is an attorney with the Law Offices of DePanfilis & Vallerie, LLC, located in Norwalk. Mr McKirdy’s law practice focuses primarily on criminal law and personal injury litigation.

He earned a bachelor of liberal arts in communications science from the University of Connecticut in 1998 and was awarded his JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2002. Attorney McKirdy is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the world’s largest professional legal fraternity, and the Fairfield County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and the US District Court, District of Connecticut.  Mr McKirdy’s membership was sponsored by Rotarian Scott Senete.

The Newtown Rotary Club’s members are men and women who are in business and professions in the local community. Their efforts and belief in the concept of “Service Above Self” provide support for many organizations and individuals to have a better life.
