LINDA DAY CLARK: THE GEE’S BEND PHOTOGRAPHS WALTERS ART MUSEUM

BALTIMORE, MD. — “Linda Day Clark: The Gee’s Bend Photographs” will be on view through September 2 at the Walters Art Museum. Comprising a selection of 25 photographs taken by Linda Day Clark, who over the past six years has frequently visited Gee’s Bend and befriended the quilters, this exhibit complements “The Quilts of Gee’s Bend” exhibit. Her subjects include portraits of the quilters themselves as well as their surroundings.

Day Clark is a well-known lecturer and consultant as well as a professor at Coppin State University. She has served on the faculty of the Maryland Institute College of Art and on the education staff of the Baltimore Museum of Art.
