Marcia Judith Gans Nathanson

Marcia Judith “Judy” Gans Nathanson, 74, died peacefully August 2, after losing her extensive battle with cancer. Ms Nathanson was born in Norwalk, July 10, 1936, the only daughter of Ethel Marshall and Gans.

She was the loving mother of Lisa N. Chaloux of Sandy Hook and Michael J. Nathanson of Lady Lake, Fla.; and proud grandmother of three. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Ms Nathanson is survived by her three brothers.

She was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1954, and Laselle College (’56) in Newton, Mass. She founded, owned, and operated Winterfun/Summerfun Unlimited, an international travel and tour agency, and led group tours throughout the United States and many foreign countries. She retired to Florida in 2000, where she was active in several charities and social organizations.

Funeral arrangements are private.
