Police report they arrested a youth under age 16 on August 11 and lodged charges of first degree criminal mischief and interfering with police.
First degree criminal mischief, which is a felony, involves more than $1,500 of property damage. Details on the nature of the crime were not available on the morning of August 12.
 State law shields the identities of those arrested who are under age 16. Police said they released the youth on a written promise to appear August 30 in Danbury Juvenile Court.
Four Charges
Police said they received an arrest warrant on August 10 from Danbury Superior Court and served it at court on August 11 against Steve Buchholz, 21, of 104 Waterview Drive, who was in court on another matter.
Police said they charged Buchholz with two counts of second degree forgery and two counts of sixth degree larceny in connection with an incident which occurred in late May.
Buchholz was arraigned on those charges in court on August 11, police said.
Church Hill Collision
Police report a two-car accident on Church Hill Road in front of the Blue Colony Diner about 12:44 pm August 3.
Motorist Baik Um, 68, of Orangeburg, N.Y., who was driving a 1995 Toyota Camry westward, was making a left turn into the dinerâs parking lot, when the Toyota collided with an eastbound 2004 Acura MDX sport-utility vehicle being driven by E. Brucker-Canizares, 48, of Westport, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Um a written warning for making a restricted turn.
