DARIEN — The 25th annual American Cancer Society Darien Road Race will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, September 19, at Pear Tree Point Beach. The race consists of two USATF-certified events: a 10-K and a 1.5-mile “Fun Loop,” both of which start and end at Pear Tree Point Beach.

Runners may register online at www.hitekracing.com or fill out an application at the Darien Town Hall. The registration fee is $15 through September 14, and $20 thereafter.

The Darien Road Race is held each year as a community event to benefit the American Cancer Society. The event has raised more than $500,000 since its inception.
