Newtown Savings Bank Announces Recent Promotions
Newtown Savings Bank announced the promotion of Tanya Wulff-Truax, assistant vice president, to marketing information and public relations manager. Matthew Hastava has been promoted to assistant treasurer and branch manager of the Stony Hill office.
Ms Wulff-Truax is the former branch manager of the bankâs Monroe office. In her new position, she will be overseeing and promoting the effective use of sales delivery systems including sales tracking and the new Marketing Customer Information File (MCIF) computer software system. Her responsibilities will include oversight of the development and implementation of effective and uniform sales tracking and sales reporting procedures, manager the business relationship with the bankâs MCIF and sales system provider, participate in community activities and ensures that all communities have a fair and strong level of financial support.
Ms Wulff-Truax has 20 years of banking experience, including eight years with Newtown Savings Banks. She received her masterâs of business administration with a concentration in marketing in 2003. She and her husband live in Monroe.
Matthew Hastava has been with the bank for seven years. He, too, began his banking career as a teller then moved to the head teller, assistant manager, and branch manager positions. He will be serving the Bethel, Danbury, Newtown areas. Mr Hastava recently completed his MBA. He is a resident of Southbury.
