Summer reading officially ended on August 4. In spite of a shorter time period, 604 summer reading participants read a total of 5,225 books in just five weeks!
Congratulations to all of you who discovered how much fun reading can be. Pick up your reading records in the filing cabinet in the back of the childrenâs department.

âTweens & Teens Summer Reading at the Booth Library concluded this week with the final drawing for prizes donated by local and area businesses and services.
Our young people read and enjoyed hundreds of fine books as well as happily winning the many generous donations.
We are still open for business and have many excellent selections for young adults as they continue their summer reading for school and pleasure.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors: Andreaâs Pastry Shop, Bagel De-Lite, Big Y, Botsford Drive-In, Cave Comics, CVS, Dick Blick Art Materials, Doughnut Hut, Drug Center, Dunkin Donuts, Edmond Town Hall Theater, Loews Theaters, Mona Lisa Restaurant, Monroe Nails, My Place Restaurant, Pizza Palace, Ricciâs Salon, Sandy Hook Barber Shop, Sandy Hook Hair Company, and West Redding Hair Stylists.
