Benefit Daypack Drive

DANBURY — The Outing Club, a local nonprofit outdoor-based organization, is working with Eastern Mountain Sports in Danbury Fair Mall to co-sponsor a daypack drive to benefit the Connecticut branch of The Girls and Boys Clubs of America.

Its goal is to collect 500 in good condition, clean, still usable daypacks. Anyone who donates their daypack will receive 20 percent off the purchase price of a new da pack.

Daypacks will be collected during regular store hours from August 11 to August 22 at Eastern Mountain Sports on the lower level of Danbury Fair Mall (below the carousel).
