Carol A. Kellogg, 78, of Southbury, died Tuesday, August 9, at Masonicare of Newtown. She was the widow of the late Floyd Kellogg.
Mrs Kellogg was born November 8, 1932, in Bridgeport, a daughter of Hazel Frances (Secor) and Charles Hersey Barnes. She resided in Southbury for the past 13 years, previously living in Newtown for 28 years. As a young girl, she was a member of the Rainbow Girls.
Mrs Kellogg enjoyed crossword puzzles, dining out, and loved the ocean and horse racing. She also knitted hats for the homeless.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Biagioni of Middletown, and two grandchildren, Kellie Guyeski of Naugatuck and Jeffrey Biagioni of Woodbury. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Simons.
Funeral services will be on Friday, August 12, at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main Street North, at 11 am. Burial will follow in Newtown Village Cemetery.
