BETHEL – More than 130 riders got together recently for the annual 4–H Spring Horse show at the Cooperative Extension System in Bethel.

The purpose of the show is to provide a quality riding experience in a relaxed, fun atmosphere while raising funds for the Fairfield County 4–H program. All proceeds from the show directly support 4–H youth and adult educational programming.

The high point horse and rider combinations from this show and the Fall Nutmeg show will receive year-end awards.

Sunnybrook Farm in Newtown sponsors the year–end award in the Open Beginner Hunter and Walk/Trot divisions.
